Heat corn in a sauce pan, add sugar. Heat over to 350 degrees. Melt butter and blend with flour and milk. Add seasonings and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add corn and cheese, then remove from heat and stir until cheese is dissolved. Pour over beaten egg yolks. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in greased baking dish for about 40 minutes, or until firm. |
